Q. Why don't you publish rates?
A. All weddings are unique and as such we like to present realistic options based upon the actual details of your day. We don't publish artificially low generic rates only to nickel and dime you up to the point where you don't recognize the original low number. Our rates are very inclusive and straightforward. After covering over 1700 weddings we have a lot of ideas and plans to cover the day, from all day coverage to an hourly option great for micro weddings.

Q. How do I get rates?
A. Just go to the contact page and provide as much of the requested
information as possible. We'll quickly send you a number of realistic possibilities based on your details and thoughts. Or our favorite, email us at blacktievideo57@gmail.com and we will get you all of the information you need and get to know you a little better as well.

Q. Do I get just a highlight montage?
A. We're rather opinionated on this one. We produce a full document of your day typically 60-90 minutes in length, for less than what many are charging for just a short highlight montage. It includes the full ceremony, all of the main reception events in their entirety, as well a bunch of candids and dancing.

Q But let's say I like the highlight montage?
A. Fear not! We create one of those as well, cut to music you choose. We then provide you with a downloadable link for sharing on social media.

Q. How much time is included in your coverage?
A. Obviously this can vary by event, but our standard is 7 hours from arrival to departure. This time frame can be shifted forward or backwards depending on your preference. We also offer hourly coverage options as well.

Q. My event is longer than your coverage time, is extended coverage available?
A. Absolutely! Extended time is available at an hourly price. We receive many requests for pre-ceremony getting ready footage and are happy to be there for all of the behind the scenes energy and chaos. Or perhaps the party gets extended; we can stay for that as well.

Q. Do you use a lot of cabling and bright lights?
A. NO! All equipment used at your event is powered by batteries, there will be no cables running anywhere! Typically lights are not used during a ceremony, but sometimes are necessary at receptions due to the low light nature of the location. Thanks to the sensitivity of our equipment, we're able to use small, on-camera lights to provide a small pool of light wherever needed. There are no lights on stands "re-lighting" the room.

Q. Do you interview people at tables during the reception?
A. We found out years ago that people trying to enjoy your reception are bothered by this practice. We promise that we'll never interview people at their table. Should you wish certain people to speak on camera, there are other methods to have them do this without disrupting their experience.

Q. Do you offer drone coverage?
A. If the site allows it , and you want it, we can provide it! We utilize FAA Certified pilots for the best possible results.
